Terms of Service

1. What Stellar Interview is (and is not)

Stellar Interview is a practice simulator. The interviews, interviewers, scores, decisions, and offer letters in the product are simulated by AI for training purposes. They are not real job interviews, not real offers of employment, and not predictions of any real hiring outcome. Stellar Interview is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any employer whose public job posting you choose to practice against.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person per account; you must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live).

3. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload or create — résumés, profile data, written and spoken interview answers, and job postings you import. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the product: storing your content, transcribing and scoring your answers with AI, and generating the documents and feedback you request. We do not sell your content.

4. AI-generated output

Scores, feedback, ATS analyses, and generated documents are produced by AI and can be wrong. Generated résumés and cover letters are drafts grounded in your own materials — review them before using them anywhere real. You are responsible for what you submit to actual employers.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unauthorized access, scraping, reverse engineering, reselling, uploading unlawful content, or using the platform to harass or impersonate others. Don't import job postings you have no lawful right to access. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Voice recordings

Voice answers are optional and gated behind a separate written consent (see the Privacy Policy and the in-product disclosure). You can withdraw consent at any time from your profile, which permanently deletes your recordings.

7. Subscriptions

The service is currently free while in early access. If paid tiers launch, pricing and billing terms will be presented at checkout and incorporated into these terms.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time, which deletes your data per the Privacy Policy. We may terminate accounts for violations of these terms with notice where practicable.
